    And I find it admirable that you and Larry are staying friends. You set a good example in so many ways, my friend.

    As for your question, I'm always in for the emotional side of weight-loss and maintenance, as well as balancing everything.

  3. Hi Lynn! Love your blog and have followed for at least 2 years now! I would love to hear more about losing weight as a vegetarian and some of your simple recipes or meal preps that you enjoy. Namaste :)

  5. What a gracious vlog.

    I think I agree with Lori, I like the variety of your blog content. Also, I am currently thinking alot about paradigms, and how everything else in our life flows OUT from our inner truths. So it would interest me to hear you talk about how you shifted your beliefs, to allow you to permanently embrace the changes necessary to lose 170 lbs.

    I find as I lose, I change some, then get comfortable, and cling to the current. And it take more change to keep letting go of more weight, yet I resist. And it has to do with my thinking, my paradigms.

    Anyway, I'd love to hear your thoughts on it, since you have/are living it successfully.

  6. Thank you for such an honest, heartfelt vlog. I am glad to hear that you are doing well, as you adjust to the changes in your life, and I'm glad that you and Larry remain friends.

    Your blog was the first weight loss blog that I came across, and that was lucky for me! It has helped me get going on a weight loss program, and it set a very nice, friendly, straightforward tone, which I needed. I sensed your sincerity and wisdom, and it was your blog that led me to blogging myself. It has also been a model of what I look for in other blogs, and there are some lovely people out there who have been very helpful to many of us.

    Regarding what I would like to see for topics: Your blog has always been great! I still enjoy reading about a variety of topics that are relevant to weight loss (i.e., healthy foods, exercise, thoughts on weight loss programs, emotional roadblocks, etc.). I also like how you personalize so much of the information you share. For example, I enjoy reading about how you work your program now and how you were working it when you were losing weight. For those of us who are not at maintenance yet, it is very helpful to hear about how others have lost their weight. And of course, I enjoy hearing about your family, from time to time.

  10. Lynn, this vlog came at such a good time for me. I post my first update tomorrow morning on a challenge I'm working on to rid myself of low self-esteem and your comment about believing you can be happy if you put that belief inside you, just resonated within me; this 'hate-loss challenge' that I'm doing is one of the hardest things I've ever done but I am determined to be happier and more at peace within myself this year. Thank you for sharing this. As far as what I'd like to see more of, I am really enjoying your vlogs. It's amazing the connection one can have by watching just a couple minutes of video. They're great. Happy New Year to you :)

I always wonder if you ever have a block on what to blog about, but you always post something that resonates with me. I am glad that your "believing in happiness" is inspiring that flower to grow and blossom for you. Thanks for making a difference in my life.

  12. Like others, I want to let you know I very much love reading your blog and wathching your new vlogs. You have such wisdom to offer that I very much enjoy reading and your honesty, insight to weight loss and maintenance is very realfrom your persoan experience and success.

    I think every recipe you have posted I have tried and enjoyed because I know it is going to be healthy! I would like to know more about what maybe a typical week of meals you prepare look like. The balance of life and the determination to succeeed in weight los are interesting topics to me.

    I have recently discovered you--and am so inspired!!! I have just recently begun my weight loss journeyand even though I do not have too much to lose, I have all the same issues as everyone.

  14. Thanks for the ideas! I'll start addressing some of these things very soon, particularly what I eat. I get asked that quite a bit, but have resisted posting it. I'm going to track a typical week and see what happens.

  15. Hi Lynn! You speak as beautifully as you write! Hope you will continue with the video blogs. It is fun to have a person's voice in our head when we are reading them.

    I like a variety of blog topics. Always like to hear what works for people and how they do it in a variety of subjects (as in weight loss/weight maintenance/quilting/creating...)
